Teluk Chempedak, Malaysia
During this project, the Ecobeach project has been combined with a beach nourishment. Generally, the lifetime of a beach nourishment is between 3 to 5 years at this location. Since 3 to 4 months after the installation of the Ecobeach system, the beach nourishment has been kept almost completely stable with a decrease of the nourishment volume of around 1% per year.
